Travel & Stay

A few recommendations as you plan your arrival in Istanbul

To our guests joining us from the States, the UK, France, Italy, Denmark, Dubai, Singapore…you get the idea

We suggest arriving between Sunday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 6th in order to allow for some time to recuperate, adjust to the time zone, and perhaps explore Istanbul before the festivities.

We also suggest that you land at Istanbul International Airport (IST) airport if flying. We only suggest landing at Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) if you choose to stay on the Asian side of the Bosphorus (the Kadıköy/Moda areas are optimal if so).

Hotel & Lodging Suggestions

Ciragan Palace Kempinski

For those who would like to stay at the wedding venue, the team at Çırağan Kempinski has provided us with a promo codeBALI240803” for discounted rates.

Alternatively, you can use the booking link below to benefit from the same discount. Please note that the link will pre-populate the booking for the entire week of the 5th August, though you can still adjust for your schedule:

Nearby Hotels

The wedding venue is located along the Bosphorus on the bustling European side, so there are plenty of hotel options nearby. Here are some of the closest hotels that you might consider:

AirBnB

AirBnB is a perfectly suitable option for younger friends and larger groups. While you can find AirBnB’s all over the city, we do not recommend venturing too far into the outskirts—traffic can become an issue .

Generally, we recommend that you stay within the area in the screenshot below:
